2. Products & descriptions
We sell handmade hard candies and lollipops made in small batches. Because each piece is poured and swirled by hand, colors and swirl patterns vary slightly from photos and from piece to piece — this is normal and not a defect. Weights are approximate (about 12 g per standard lollipop). Full ingredients, nutrition per piece and allergen information are published on each product's Details panel and printed on packaging.
3. Pricing & taxes
- All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) and shown per piece or per box before shipping.
- U.S. shipping is a flat $5.95; orders of $35.00 or more (after discounts) ship free.
- Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown on your emailed invoice where required by law.
- Promo code SWEET10 gives 10% off product subtotal, one code per order, and cannot be combined with other promotions. We may end or change promotions at any time for future orders.
4. Ordering & payment
When you place an order, you receive an order number on screen and a confirmation email with a secure payment link (or pickup instructions if you choose Portland workshop pickup). Your order is confirmed once payment is received. We may cancel and fully refund an order if an item is out of stock, a pricing error occurred, or we cannot deliver to your address — we will always email you if this happens.
5. Shipping & delivery
- We ship within the United States only.
- Orders are packed within 1–2 business days of confirmed payment and typically arrive in 3–6 business days with tracking.
- Delivery times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed.
- In hot weather, please bring your package indoors promptly; hard candy softens in prolonged heat.
6. Freshness & damaged orders
Every order is labeled with a batch and best-by date (normally 4–6 months from production). If your order arrives broken, melted or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will, at your choice, replace the affected items free of charge or refund them. For food-safety reasons, opened food products cannot be returned.
7. Allergen & safety notice
All products are made in a facility that also handles milk, soy and tree nuts. Individual flavor pages list contained allergens. Hard candy may pose a choking hazard for young children; adult supervision is recommended. Our candies are confectionery treats and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and we make no health or weight-loss claims.
8. Event & wholesale orders
Custom event orders (50+ pieces) require at least 3 weeks' notice and a written quote. A 50% deposit confirms the production slot; the balance is due before shipping. Custom orders that have entered production cannot be cancelled, but we will work with you on date changes where possible.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Disputes will first be addressed by contacting us at sweetwhirl.candy@gmail.com so we can try to resolve them quickly and fairly.
